The ensuing half hour is not intended as propaganda to abolish the relationship between mothers and sons. It merely seeks to point out that there can be too much of a good thing. Agnes Moorehead plays brilliantly the part of a possessive mother who becomes obsessed with controlling her son and breaking up his marriage at whatever cost.
