Willy Ince is a sneak thief who Nero Wolfe has never heard of but Ince has heard of him. Ince wants to see Nero Wolfe about a phoney murder act. He broke in to a house and left fingerprints on the door handle. Later a dame is bumped off in the room and Ince fears that they will pin it on him.
