Lum and Abner have started what they call the farm relief chain letter where instead of sending money, everyone who receives one of their letters is supposed to respond by sending a hog. Now they have started a corn chain letter, having everyone send a bushel of corn feed the fifteen thousand hogs they hope to receive.
