The big house on Orange Grove Drive seemed to reflect the merriment inside. The new Mr and Mrs Walter Blake were at home to friends following their honeymoon and it was truly an occasion. Mrs Blake had lived quite alone for several years a widow with only a servant girl as a companion and now it was all changed and Clair Blake’s friends were pleased the couple were simply made for each other.
