Standing in the hotel lobby in Pisa, Italy with a group of some other twenty tourists Clara Marshall age 25 and attractive enough to draw attention anywhere was smiling quietly to her self and for good reason. For the past eight months she’d handled things perfectly. Wanted by the Chicago police for her part in a series of fraudulent stock transactions she’d slipped out of town and covered her tracks so successfully that they’d lost all trace of her.
