Simon Loves Leah but her father doesn't think he is good enough to marry her. This is why Simon a young and talented student turns to a secret  body of occult doctrine, the Kabalah, to conquer death itself. When Leah is betrothed to a suitable man Simon reaches out to the master of the black arts and dies. But he is not dead, he is stronger than death and his spirit takes possession of Leah the bride he will not let go.  Leah's father takes her to the Rabbi to exorcise the Dybbuk from her.
