It was Ben’s brains and Haskel’s money that had made the mining company successful. Ben Oliver picked the spot for the mine and Mr Haskel made and was still making a fortune out of it despite the fact it’s a small operation. Now Mr Haskel was telling Johnny Dollar that Ben had been murdered down on the third sub level of the mine, which they had discontinued working for a while due to some exploration Ben was doing on it. He wanted to know why Ben had been killed and the man or men responsible to be brought to justice.
