Lamont and Margo are at a fair when a young man at the shooting gallery and his sharp shooting amaze them. Dr Franz Leighton head of the research laboratory at Jordan processing company is responsible for developing the young mans skills and demonstrates how not only the eye but the ear is responsible for his marksmanship. Blindfolded, he is able to shoot once and hit the bulls eye of a target from the sound of a gong giving the direction. The Shadow would be powerless against a boy like that.
