Barrie Craig is employed to bid at an auction for a diamond belt that once belonged to Boxer Doyle when he was welterweight champ. He wins the bid, turns the belt over to Mr Mahoney, collects his $500 and writes his client off as a sentimental screwball. A weird deal kind of but legitimate on the face of it so why push his imagination? Another day another dollar Craig figures it until lieutenant Rogers opens the case on the disappearance of boxer Doyle.
