Don Baumhauer is currently running the Tristate Life and Casualty insurance company, and he's concerned about the safety of a client. Thomas Patterson is the man in question, and a few years ago, when he was living up at Jacksonville, Tom was the sole witness to a murder. The killer was tried and sent to prison, but now he's on the loose and the client's life is likely in danger.
