This evening the great Gildersleeve received a call from his good friend Judge John Hooker who has been tied up all evening at the courthouse. The Judge has an arrangement to take miss Del Ray to a night club and asks if Gildy will escort Miss Del Ray her on his behalf. And of course Gildy agrees, anything to help a friend!
