Willy has done Phil's tax return and he has a hard choice to make, reduce his band's wages or go bankrupt. Phil is so sure of Remley's friendship that he is convinced he'd take a pay cut to save the band. But Remley is hard up and has been evicted by his landlord and is now about to move in with Phil and Alice. After the last time he lived with them for three weeks Alice is determined it's not going to happen.
