This story illustrates how necessary it is for the police to be trained and experienced, intuitive and alert in the investigation of crime particularly those that have few clues to identity of the person committing them are available for the police to work upon. The crime portrayed here was one of the most brutal and cold blooded in the history of our local police force. The man that conceived it was careful and almost successful when building up an unbeatable alibi. The man who actually committed the crime as a tool of the man who planned it was by circumstances far removed from any suspicion and might have evaded justice were it not fr the intelligent manner in which the case was handled.
