Sooner or later, anybody who wants to see Greenwich Village as the village sees itself, goes to Victors. It's a place of cigarette haze, music, candlelight and wine. A place where every man should go at least once with his best girl, or favorite wife. Whilst Jerry North is there with his lovely wife, Pam, they bump into "Studs" McGowan, a former boxer champion, who is selling flowers in the cafe. The next day, Studs is found dead in his apartment, and Pam and Jerry investigate the murder. They soon discover that Studs was involved in a number of shady dealings...
