Mrs Martha Carter has two sons Donald and Kenneth. Son Donald is a never-do-well whose demand for money keeps the family broke. Shortly after son Kenneth leaves his office his boss and boss’s secretary are both shot and killed by a man who then robs the safe. Mrs Carter then finds part of the money in her son Donald’s dresser along with a recently used pistol.
