Jim Gregg, the vice president and well-known and trusted banker has been accused of embezzlement. The story opens with Jim's daughter Paula and her lawyer fiance Allan, heading over to the bank where her father is being questioned by the police inspector. Mr Rivers, the president of the bank is sure that Jim hasn't done anything wrong, but there are some questions which need answers. Where is the evidence? And how does Broderick, the DA know about the embezzlement already?
