The Cradle that Rocked itself is a story of fantastic and sinister events that take place on the Cornish Peninsula (England). One particular stormy morning Holmes and Watson receive a visit from the vicar, Mr. Roundhay, with a serious problem. It seems that the cradle at Travining Warther has been rocking again. The cradle has been in the Travining home for over 5 centuries and hasn’t been used for many years. Legend has it that when one of them is about to die the cradle rocks on its own.
