Jerry Pitcher comes looking for the Doc saying his father is very ill. However Marshall Matt Dillon is suspicious, as he knows that Ben Pitcher doesn’t like doctors.. Matt decides to ride to the Pitcher’s with Doc and when he gets there discovers it is a cow that Ben Pitcher wants treating.

This is a re-used script but the support actors are different to the broadcast in May 1955.
