When Richard Diamond stops at the corner to buy a newspaper and to see his young friend the newsstand boy he discovers that some guy with a counterfeit $5 has passed it off to poor Jeff. Unhappy that young Jeff has been fleeced out of a whole day’s pay Diamond heads to the police station to see how much of this counterfeit money is floating around New York.
