Counsellor At Law was a 1933 Universal Pictures film success, a thrilling story of a great criminal lawyer. The action of the play revolves around the private and public life of George Simon a poor east side boy who, at the time the curtain rises on this story, has reached the very pinnacle of the legal profession.
