There is an old saying, murder will out, and like most time worn adages, it has more than a grain of truth to it. No matter how meticulously a criminal plans his crime, he never thinks of everything. There's always a loose end, and although it may take months or even years before his mistake is discovered, when it is, inevitably the criminal is called to answer for his acts.
