Widder Cobb is not happy about Lum's builder Hugh Gerret and has stopped him getting on the land to build the property. Lum reckons she has no right to be doing that but she owns the mortgage Lum took out and threatens to get a lawyer to stop Lum's builder. Widder Cobb is not the only problem stopping Lum from getting on with his building project.
