While Abner is at the county seat learning how to operate the projection machine, Lum is attempting to make a deal for some films for the theater. Yesterday a salesman from a motion picture distributing company called on Lum, and he is scheduled to return today to wind up his business. As we look in on the little community today, we find Lum, Cedric and Grandpappy Spears in the store and library reading a postcard from Abner.
