For almost thirty years the shop has been in the neighborhood, and the sign on the window has read Amos Crandle, Optometrist The place is small, simply furnished and uncluttered. Amos, or Doc, as he is called, knows practically everybody in the neighborhood, and practically everybody knows him. Doc doesn't say much, but he doesn't charge much either. He does a very nice job and is always there when you need him.
