Two officers of the North West Mounted Police stood before Inspector Grayson at Dawson Headquarters. Sgt Preston was slightly older than Corporal James, but both were strong and clear eyed, and both listened eagerly as the Inspector explained the case on which he was sending them. Rusty Blake is a ruthless killer, and has boasted he won't be taken alive. He has murdered before, and isn't scared to murder again. It's up to them to stop him!
