Two soldiers find themselves on a secret mission on a small island off the cost of Canada. As they lie in wait they try to fathom out what this secret mission is all about, but the peace is shattered by a mysterious man who comes staggering out of the bushes carrying a young lady. He drops the lady to the ground and then falls himself - a dagger protruding from his back.
