The Cockeyed Wonder is a baseball comedy which starts in a bar (sounds like Duffy's Tavern). A man (Ed Gardner) is recounting from when he played baseball about a baseball wonder called Lou Thatcher. Lou had never played a game before and went on to become a powerhouse at batting and one of the greatest basemen in the history of the game and you know what done it for him? A drink called a Pink Lady that makes him see everything in slow motion!
