It is ten o’clock on the evening of January 24th, 1950. A bitter wind whips through the north Texas town of Bolton. As the clock in the town square strikes the hour an elderly woman makes her way towards the drug store. There, she inquires about a man named George Colly. But Mr. Crandall, the pharmacist, soon has to call a doctor.
