Well Lum finally purchased an old house to be converted into the Edwards Observatory, but what with Abner, Lum and Professor Sloan all trying to buy the property to surprise each other, Squire Skimp was able to exact a fairly high price for it. As we look in on the little community today, we find that the old fellows have closed up the store for the evening and have gone over to start cleaning up the old house. They're just approaching the front door...
