When Chuck and Patsy saw smoke rising over a nearby ridge, they rushed over to it, and discovered a prospector by the name of Van Gillis. To him, they told of their flight and of the health of Bud Conley, who was still deathly ill from the fever. Help for him seemed impossible, as there still isn't enough room in the forest clearing for Captain Midnight to be able to take off in the little plane. Maybe Mr Gillis can offer some assistance...
