The preparations for the coming out party which is to present Buster V Davenport, formerly known as Grandpappy Spears, are moving along rapidly now, and social leader, Lum Whitley Edwards will soon be ready to announce the date for this gala event. As we look in on the little community today, we find Lum and Abner in the store and library making further plans for the affair.
