The dramatization today is a George Bernard Shaw masterpiece. Shaw, of course, is best known for his plays and his wit, and he wrote this particular novel when he was a young man, a very long time ago. The story begins with a young gentleman who has just entered the stars dressing room  - but he is not the star. He seems restless and out of place, as he saunters around the strange surroundings. There's a clutter of women's clothing, open make-up jars, spilled powder, and on the dressing table sits a photograph of a boy, which the young man now stares at intently...
