Magicians from all over the country are competing for the Fulton Award, a $10,000 prize for the best illusion of the year but the greatest magician of them all Carlos Canestro will not be present after an accident put him in a wheelchair. Then later Canestro’s wife discovers him stabbed to death and his famous rope trick missing.
