The Case of the Great Impersonation stated when Nick Carter and Patsy went on a visit to another city and were greeted by a welcoming committee with machine guns no less. They went there looking for a gangster but Nick spent most of his time looking for Patsy. Patsy found the gangster first and pretended to be a gun moll and played the part too well for her own safety
