Gangster Jerry Buck tells Carl Brown who’s been ill that unless he pays him a $100 his shop will be wrecked and he’ll be killed. Sop Carl goes to see Boston Blackie and Blackie agrees to be with Carl the next day when the gangster comes for payment. That night however Carl’s friend John Rainy pulls a gun on Carl and announces that he’s going to kill him.
