In trying to trace Chuck Ramsay and Frank Crane who have suddenly disappeared, the remnants of Chuck's plane, which burned out after a crash, were found. A short distance from the wreckage, Captain Midnight is talking in low tones with Steve Donovan and Fred Hilton. After reconstructing what, in his opinion, has happened, Captain Midnight makes the amazing statement that when Chuck's plane crashed, no-one was at the controls!
