Three weeks after Frances had been in hospital for an operation Michael turns up to see how she is. Frances is annoyed with him but Michael flatters her and asks her if they can be good friends. Just as she comes round to his flattering he shows a jealous streak and she tells him she doesn’t want to see him anymore. Michael decided the only way he can cure his longing for Fran and his jealousy is to kill her.
