Somehow, love seems to have become the province of the young. Ask anyone to name two people who are deeply in love, and the answer almost automatically is Romeo and Juliet. Well, let's face it, Romeo and Juliet were a couple of teenagers who only knew each other for a brief interval. They conveniently died before they would have to weather the storms of marriage and responsibility. The lovers of record, should be Phil and Irene or Tom and Joan, couples who had lived together and put up with each other for 50 or 60 years. That is love.
