Don’t miss this one, No.6 in the series. With the usual crowd, Stan Freberg, Billy May and his orchestra, Peggy Taylor, Peter Leeds and amongst others taking part is a guy from “The Citizens Radio Committee.” A Mr. Tweedly, who just happens to be a censor. This is the program where that Showboat classic “Old Man River” gets torn apart and restructured, finally emerging as “Elderly Man River” there’s also a sketch on “Dirty Linen from the History Hamper” with Robert E. Tainter. You could say it’s all good clean stuff.
