The story continues with the headlights of the bus piercing through the driving rain. Young Corey Murdock drove slowly, carefully, not only as a precaution, but in order to not jolt the two seriously injured men he carried as passengers - victims of the explosion which had happened earlier at the cement plant outside of the city. There were two other people on the bus, Virginia Martin and a surly looking man, Dick Haggerty, who was the foreman of the plant, and openly antagonistic towards Ms Martin...
