The Brighter day was a 15 minute daily serialized drama that emerges as a spin off of Irna Phillips soap opera Joyce Jordan, MD. Reverend Dennis is a widow who becomes the pastor in Three Rivers. The story focused around his family, four daughters and a son and their lives in Three Rivers.
