Reverend Colby has entered the house and will not leave without his daughter Isabelle who was at Mrs. Akley house with a man who claims to be a prophet of a religious cult, the ancient ones. He is forced to leave without her and then the prophet foresees the death of the reverend at his own pulpit. Murder has been committed that only the Shadow can solve.
