Sergeant Preston and King save Betty the young 15-year-old granddaughter of Judge Fitzgerald who falls in to icy waters when the ice breaks beneath her. The judge doesn’t seem to be able to keep her out of trouble.

Later two men the Judge sentenced about a year ago for robbery and attempted murder have escaped and are on their way to seek revenge on the Judge when they come across Betty who has become snow blind as she sets out to meet Sergeant Preston.
