Three o’clock in the morning a darkened street deserted except for a uniformed policeman languidly making his lonely round. In the middle of the sidewalk he sees a large wooden packing case he stops, reads the stencilled inscription on it and then angrily enters an apartment building and rings the doorbell marked superintendent. A Mrs Donald answer expecting her husband who hasn’t arrived home yet and is surprised that the wooden case has her name on it. She urges the officer to open it fearful of what may be in it and then shocked declares it to be her dead husband Fred…
