In his studio at the top of the house, Paul Barbour is finishing a long day's work. As he comes up out of the obsession which has kept him at the typewriter since early morning, he hears a squeak from the third step from the top. Father Barbour has been up several times today, but hasn't disturbed Paul because he heard the typewriter busily clacking away. Now Dan is home, and he has news. He and Hazel are moving to a bigger home ... and Father Barbour has reservations...
