At Penny's door, Claudia is knocking for the second time because her Uncle Paul wants to see her. She's incensed that the two of them are invading her privacy today, but Paul knows that he needs to intervene. Claudia has had a blow to her pride and self-esteem that most people wouldn't get over, and instead of supporting her mother, Penny is hateful and glib about the whole matter.
