At the edge of a lake two men are busy digging an excavation on land which had been sold to a businessman by Emily Bristow when they come across a human skeleton and a necklace right near where the neck would be. They took it to the towns District Attorney Mr Warren and he recognised it as the Bog Oak necklace, which he had sent to Emily Bristow on her 24th birthday 40 years ago and which had meant the death of her sister Daisy.
