Dirk Hale chuckled as he pulled two equal stacks of gold coins towards Slim Williams and Shorty Davies, who sat in his office in the back of the Wild Horse Cafe in Smithville. It was the take from their most recent rustling job, but now they needed to keep their heads down, and maybe do a little prospecting to avoid anyone getting suspicious. There have been quite a few gold strikes recently too, so the men were hoping to get lucky.
