Bob Hope is the Master of Ceremonies, and opens the show with more of his hilarious stories of a recent Command Performance tour of the army camps. He begins by introducing Jimmy Cash who sings Make Believe (unfortunately this skips a little). Next up is Carole Landis who after a lot of build-up performs a 'sigh'. Then, her and Bob sing Pistol Packing Mama together.
