A policyholder of the Tri-State Insurance company has been shot-up, so they have sent Johnny to investigate why. He's currently in the hospital when Johnny arrives, the recipient of four slugs from a .45. He's insured for $50,000, and his beneficiaries are his son and daughter. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are confusing, as everybody liked Max - so why would someone want to kill him?
